Editorial Standards — FHR
Our Editorial Mission
FHR produces YMYL (Your Money or Your Life) content — material that could affect a reader's financial or legal situation. We take that responsibility seriously. Our goal is to be the most accurate, honest, and useful source of freelance workforce information in Detroit.
Research Standards
- All statistics are cited with primary sources. We do not publish figures without source attribution.
- Tax rates, legal requirements, and benefit rules are verified against primary sources (IRS, Michigan Treasury, ACA marketplace data) before publication.
- When information changes, we update content and note the revision date.
- We do not publish claims we cannot verify.
Content Review
FHR's guides and articles covering financial, tax, legal, or insurance topics are labeled as educational only and do not constitute professional advice. As FHR's advisory board is formed, content will be reviewed by credentialed advisors in the relevant field. Reviewer credentials will be disclosed alongside content.
Independence
FHR's editorial decisions are made independently of any commercial considerations. See our Disclosure Policy for details on FHR's revenue model and commitment to editorial independence.
